Govinda Valley is a not-for-profit retreat focused on self-improvement and mindful living. Combining yoga, meditation and holistic education, it offers long-term programs that support personal growth in a peaceful, community-driven setting. YFG awarded Govinda Valley a 2024 grant following General Manager Patrick Stultiens’ application.
Located just south of Sydney in the Royal National Park, Govinda Valley provides a unique opportunity to live, study and practise in nature. Through structured courses, participants embrace a balanced lifestyle, gaining practical tools for wellbeing and self-discovery.
With support from a YFG grant, Govinda Valley has renovated and refurbished its residential quarters for men, creating a more comfortable and supportive living environment. This project is part of the retreat’s commitment to providing a nurturing space where participants can fully engage in their self-improvement journey.
By improving these accommodations, Govinda Valley is enhancing the experience of the 20 to 40 residents who take part in its four-month study and ashram living program.
