“Dru Australasia is grateful for the generous support of the Yoga For Good Grant Foundation. The grant that they awarded us will allow us to provide a self-help program that builds people’s physical health and well-being, as well as their emotional resilience. We believe that the Essence of Yogic Wellbeing Course will be of great benefit to the community, and we are grateful for the Foundation’s belief in our work.”
Dru is a forward-thinking nonprofit dedicated to promoting a healthier lifestyle for all. Passionate about creating educational programs and collaborative networks, they enhance health across physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual dimensions.
Dru envisions a world where empowered individuals foster global unity with a mission to facilitate self-transformation through accessible tools.
Yoga For Good supported the new 60-hour Essence of Yogic Wellbeing program, running over one weekend a month for four months. It aimed to impart holistic balance techniques to help participants achieve harmony in body, mind and spirit. Dru met grant goals, expanding outreach through online marketing and enhancing program quality with online and face-to-face presentations.
Dru has a strong volunteer base, and our Yoga For Good grant boosted their capacity to deliver on their goals of presenting yoga and meditation programs as a form of service for the greater good. The course received support from 20 Dru-trained volunteers nationwide.
Open to all, it garnered interest from 20 individuals, with 9 participants from various regions across Australia. Their engagement fostered a positive experience, empowering transformative change and paving the way for future Dru courses.
“Dru came into my life ten years ago, and it’s changed my life for the better. I’m so glad to be part of the Dru family and community. I would suggest anyone give Dru a try.”
The Wellbeing program, promoted from May last year, was as a popular focal point that sparked significant interest and increased Dru subscribers through the campaign to showcase Dru yogic wellbeing.
